Anaheim Museum is now housed in the former Carnegie Library Building at the corner of Broadway and Anaheim Blvd. The building was designed by architect John C. Austin, who also designed the Los Angeles City Hall, Shrine Auditorium and Griffith Park Observatory in Los Angeles. Upstairs "The Anaheim Room" features exhibits and artifacts depicting the history of Anaheim and surrounding areas. Two changing galleries explore a variety of subjects and often feature artifacts loaned from individuals, other institutions and traveling exhibitions. A multi-purpose room, children's gallery and book and gift shop are housed on the museum's lower floor.
