Truxaw-Gervais House

This landmark, erected in 1909 by Dosithe Gervais, evokes memories of the years when the spacious, three-story house was the home of Dr. John W. Truxaw and his wife, Louise, raised their eight children. Today , after years of neglect, new owners have restored the stately home. With colonial columns, expansive green lawn and shrubbery, this venerable structure is on the NationalRegister of Historic Places.
