It was 10 years after the town of Brea was incorporated on February 23, 1917, that voters approved a $60,000 bond issue for this city hall and park. Thearchitecturally elaborate building was completed in 1929. It was the first government facility in Orange County to consolidate municipal functions, including a library, in one building. This landmark site is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
