Sail with us on the open ocean in a fun and fast keel boat, the J24. Learn and practice basic racing strategies, including stats and mark roundings. Picnic on the high seas as we cruise past dolphins and sea lions. Fly a spinnaker and see just how fast the J24 can go. Every day is a new adventure in blue water sailing. Prerequisite: students must be a good swimmer and have obtained a "sucdessful completion" card from JS II or JSDC II. Pre-register. Bring a lunch (no glass containers), towel, sunscreen and swimsuit every day.Ages: 10 yrs (or 4th grade) - 13 yrs.
