General Information

The Recreation and Cultural Center is open to the public seven days a week. Center facilities include a gymnasium, indoor racquetball/handball courts, volleyball courts, social hall, play equipment area, softball fields, baseball fields and lighted courts.

Hours for public use of office/court facilities are:

• Monday through Thursday, 9am - 8:45pm.
• Friday and Saturday, 9am - 4:45pm.
• Sunday 12pm - 4:45pm.

The two indoor racquetball/handball courts are available by reservation. Reservations must be made the same day of use at the rate of $5 per hour, by check made payable to City of Fountain Valley. Reservations will be accepted from 9 - 9:30am by telephone only. After 9:30am, reservations may be accepted either by phone or in person. The courts are available on an in-person basis (first hour only) weekdays, Saturday at 9am and Sunday at 12:00 noon.

Refund Information

• A $5 Administrative charge will be assessed for each refund requested.
• Refund requests must be made in writing by the customer to Community Services.
• Only written request for the current quarter will be considered.
• Requests are not accepted after the 2nd class meeting. Any refund check processed requires two to three weeks before delivery.
• If the class is cancelled by the Division, an automatic refund will be processed and mailed to customer.
• Sorry, no refunds on Excursions.
