Volleyball is a Sport for Everyone

A new 50+ volleyball league started in January at numerous city gyms throughout Orange County...andIndependence Park is one of them. This league will provide an opportunity for men and women 50 years of age and older to participate in a healthy, social and competitive enviorment. Participantswill play weekly for 8 to 10 weeks. Sign-ups can be on either an individual or team basis. The 50+ volleyball league has two divisions. The senior division has adjusted rules, a softer ball and a lower net which allow for beginners to step on the court ready to play without special training or skills. The super senior competitive division will use the standard volleyball rules. Please call 738-5369 for more information.
