The Spanish Colonial Revival-style mansion was built by Walter Muckenthaler,member of a pioneer family. The historic showplace has tile floors, ornate fireplaces, a circular bronze and hardwwod staircase, and a glass-enclosed atrium. In 1965, the Muckenthaler home was donated to the City of Fullerton for a Cultural Center. It has become the scene of art exhibits, theatrical performances and countless educational programs. Nat. Reg. of Historic Places.
