Materials: Concrete deck, pilings.

Fishing: No license required.

Built: In 1990-92; replaced storm-damaged pier built in 1924.

History: Began as a wooden pier in 1903. After two collapses from storms, rebuilt in 1913 as 1,350-foot concrete pier. End of pier destroyed in 1939. Pier repaired, reopened in 1940. Taken over by U.S. Navy in 1941 for submarine watch. Storms in 1983 and 1988 wiped out end of pier, restaurant. Rebuilt in 1990.
