A wetland reserve where five endangered bird species can be seen. There are two parking lots with viewing areas: one is at Warner Ave and Pacific Coast Hwy. (shore fishing is allowed here); the other is on Pacific Coast Hwy across from the main Bolsa Chica Beach entrance, and features a loop trail with interpretive signs and benches for wildlife viewing. Tours of reserve on first Sat of the month, Oct-Mar. OCTD #1, #70, and #72.
