In order to promote understanding and appreciation of art and to encourage
advanced study in the field of art among the citizens of the community, the
Placentia Art Association meets on the fourth Monday of each month at the Backs
Community Building, 201 N. Bradford Ave. at 7:30 p.m.
To provide programs of
interest, professional artists demonstrate techniques in acrylics, oils, pastels
or watercolor at every meeting, and a juried membership show features local
talent with ribbons awarded to the winners. Annual membership shows are also
sponsored by the PAA. Membership art is showcased in various venues such as
malls, libraries and the Department of Motor Vehicles. PAA also sponsors the
Yorba Linda Station Annual Outdoor Art Show.
Membership may be obtained at
the regular meetings which are free too the public. For further information
