Sponsored by the San Clemente's Jr. Women's Club, this program is sure to get you and the family in the spirit of Christmas! The program is kicked off with the annual celebration of the City's Christmas tree lighting ceremony at 6pm, followed by a free concert at 7pm. In addition we will enjoy local carolers, mini-refreshments and of course Santa will be visiting! Bring the whole family. A highlight of the evening will be the opportunity to choose a name from the - "Angel Tree". This special gift program locates needy children in our community, and offers a chance for us to truly bring the holiday spirit to others. For more info please call 361-8264

No need to bother driving around town from one garage sale to another. It's all right here in one location, at the San Community Center Lawn Area, 100 N. Calle Seville! Make extra money from your unwanted items at our Community Swap Meet. This is a great chance to clean out those drawers in the garage, boxes under the bed and stuff in the closet that you haven't used in years. No entrance fee, buyers are Free!. We provide a 10' x 10' grassy space, and you supply the table, chairs, ground cover. Electricity will not be available. Call 361-8264 for a booth application.

Bring the entire family for a day of wholesome fun during the 4th annual five day carnival hosted by the San Clemente Beaches, Parks and Recreation Department and San Clemente Lions Club. Twenty carnival rides and attractions provided by Guadagno & Sons. All this, plus game and food booths, make this an ideal family outing. Ride tickets are $.75 each or 20 for $11.00 (rides take one to three tickets each.) A special "Pay One Price" wristband will be available for only $12.00 per person on Thursday, Friday and Monday. Site is located on the Lusk property off Avenida Pico, lust west of the freeway. If you are interested in fundraising and would like to arrange for a food or game booth call Dennis Drake at 498-6343.

This 5k walk fundraiser sponsored by St. Andrew's Methodist Church and the City of San Clemente, will begin and end at the Community Center, 100 N. Calle Seville. Money raised will be distributed between the San Clemente Episcopal Service Alliance and the Corazon Children's Home in Mexico. If you would like to help on the committee, or sign up to walk, call 492-2537.
SportsPark will be offering Adult softball leagues year-round for your enjoyment. Men's, Women's and Co-Ed leagues in all divisions will be offered Monday through Thursday. The Summer I season will begin in May and the Summer II season will start in July. For more information regarding the registration deadlines and general team information please call the office at (619) 679-4000. If you are an individual without a team, call and we will try to place you on a Free Agent list to get you playing! Get your team together and don't be left out of the fun!
If you are interested in coaching, please call David Peart or Carol Gibson at 361-8275. Coaching is very rewarding and fun! The City will also help you by sponsoring a nationally certified Coaches Clinic that includes liability insurance coverage.
