Games and contests, plus an outdoor barbecue, will delight young cowboys and cowgirls ages 5 through 13 at the Stanton Country Fair Jamboree, Saturday, August 3, 1996. This action-packed, fun-filled Summer event will be held at the Cultural Arts and Recreation Center from 12:00 noon to 3:30 p.m. The Jamboree will be loaded with western style games such as potato sack races, gold panning, and wild west contests. This activity is the big Summer event that children won't want to miss. Parents are welcome to come on down and participate with their young 'uns. A .50 donation is requested to help offset our costs. Those interested in volunteering should contact the Community Services Department.
Trips and Excursions for Seniors are offered on an on-going basis. Some are local turn-around trips and others are extended visits. Contact Clayton or Hazel Hanson, at (714) 893-8861 to find out where the next tour is headed.
