The Irvine Historical Museum, operated by the Irvine Historical Society, is the chief repository for Irvine Ranch memorabilia. The museum building is the oldest structure on the original Irvine Ranch, built in the 1880s as a cooking wing for the first sheep and cattle camp on the ranch property.
