The City of Los Alamitos Recreation and Community Services Dept. is offering a Youth Track and Field Clinic for children born 1984 to 1989 and a Pee-Wee Track and Field program for children K through 2nd grade.The Youth Clinic is for children who want to learn the fundamentals of track and field through practice and track meet experience. The clinic will include 50 to 1600 meter runs; 400 meter relay; long and high jumps; shot put and softball throw. Fee includes entrance to both the Los Alamitos All-City Track Meet and the O.C.M.A.A. (Orange County Municipal Athletic Assoc.) Track and Field Championships.The Pee Wee Track and Field program is for children K through 2nd grade. This program will help develop the fundmentals of running and field events and feature a Pee Wee Track and Field.Registration for both programs is on going.For further info call Mike Kudron, Sports Coordinator,562-430-1073.
