

This course for all levels will allow the student to develop the skills to convincingly depict the life model(draped and undraped), through the study of light, color and composition. Emphasis is on direct observation and accurate representation of the life model. The application of paint and types of brush strokes will also be examined. Drawing experience is strongly suggested. Materials:16x20in.canvas(student grade);Oil paint-Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna, Lamp Black, Indian Red. Ultramarine Blue, Titanium White; mineral spirits; linseed oil (cold pressed); Brushes - 1 one-inch Filbert, 1 half-inch round, 1 blender(fan brush).
