Red Cross Lifeguard Training

This lifeguard training course includes certification in CPR for the Professional Rescuer first aid training (includes infant, youth and adult CPR, use of CPR mask and 2- person-CPR) and necessary skills to become a professional lifeguard. You will be disqualified from the course if you cannot perform the following on the first day of class: swim 500 yards continuously using crawl, breaststroke and sidestroke, tread water for 2 minutes without using your hands, and retrieve a 10 pound brick from 7 feet of water. 100% attendance is required. Books are included in the fee.Prequisites: Must be at least 15 years by the last day of class.Register at the park office.
