Dripping Cave is the parks' most popular natural interest point. The cave isapproximately fifteen feet deep and forty feet long. During wet seasons the cave drips with moisture. Created by water erosion, the cave was believed to have provided shelter for Indians, cowboys and also for corralling live stock. The single track trail follows a median grade along the western ridge of Wood Canyon through grassland and Coastal Sage scrub.
