This trail starts .1 mile up canyon from the Old Coral turn-off. The dual-track beginning may be hard to find, it is often obscured by deep grass. Look for tracks that angle slightly off right. After about 0.2 mile you will encounter a park gate on the hill above; this is easily seen from below.
