How to Use Maps

If you see icons or underlined words on our maps, you can click on those. In the case of icons, you will jump to an explanation of the icon. In the case of underlined words, you will jump to information about the referenced city, trail, etc.

Netscape browser users need to have version 2 or later for this map feature to work. If you have a browser that doesn't support image maps, you can use lists to find things, too. For the techie crowd, we use client-side UseMaps.

In general,

• Click on the underlined word(s) on the map, not an area the word(s) may represent.
• Click on map icons for an explanation of an icon.
• If unsure, just click where you want. The worst that can happen is you get the "Oops" error message, click the "Back" button on your browser, and try again.
