The trail provides access to six trails and therefore is among the park's most used trails especially, the section between Borrego Canyon and Four Corners. The trail passes through coastal sage scrub and features excellent views of the park and surrounding terrain. On a clear day Newport Beach can be seen from the trails highest point at the northwest end.
