

A course aboard a typical cruising boat that's designed to make you more confident on lcal offshore cruises. For women with at least intermediate level experience.Course is for women who want to strengthen their skills in off shore cruising. This is a hands-on where everyone takes turns operatin the boat under power and sail with an accomplished woman sailor. Students will learn docking and mooring procedures, deck gear operation, roller furling operation and reefing. Safety equipment, radio operation, engine maintenance, electrical, plumbing and galley systems are covered. Bring a lunch each session. The last class session will consist of local offshore cruising. The destination and details will be worked out with you and your instructor. This four-session class is a total of 28 hours.Ages: Adult.
