Keelboat I

The Women's Keelboat series is designed specifically for women who have been on boats but are truly beginning sailors. Taught by Coast Guard licensed women sailors, these courses will take you from being a "voice activated crew member" to competent and confident crew with a solid understanding of the basics. Women's Keelboat I covers all the basics. Starting with terminology and rigging, you will learn basic sail theory, points of sail, tacking, jibing, safety, and man overboard retrieval.Evening classes - 8 meetings.Day class - no class on 5/31.
