Basic Celestial Navigation

This course cover the basics of celestial navigation using the sun, sextant,chronometer and tables. You will learn to navigate using noon sights,high altitude sights and how to check your vessel's deviation. Saturday field tripsare scheduled to practice skills with sun sights. 8 meetings.
