Advanced Celestial Navigation

This course goes beyond the basics to give you a high level of navigational proficiency. Utilizing the moon,stars and planets you will determine latitude and longitude by Polaris; steering by the sun and stars without a compass,cruise planning and use of Ageton tables,HO211. Evening field trips are designed to sharpen your skills in star identification and sextant sights of stars,planets and the moon.8 meetings.
