Minter Residence

Named for George W. Minter, this twelve-room, two-story dwelling, one of thelast of the pioneer residential structures in downtown Santa Ana, dates bac k to 1877. The home is located directly opposite the city's first public park, Birch Park, named in honor of Albert W. Birch, a relative of the Minter family. The home has been restored to its elegant appearance of more than a century ago by its new owners and is on the Nat. Register of Historic Places.
