

Walker's Orange County Theatre

There has been a theatre here since 1910 when the Blue Front livery Stable was converted to a movie house. Designed by Carl Boller, Walker's Theatre opened in 1924. While the upper facade still retains the ornate Spanish Renassiance theme, the marquee, entrance, and theatre interior were altered in 1935in the Art Deco Moderne style. The theatre, on the National Register of His toric Places, now serves the Hispanic community with Spanish-language films.
