Juzgado and Jose Antonio Yorba II Adobes
Type: Historical Sites
Status: Open
These two historic adobes were joined together to form the El Adobe Restaurant. Both structures may date back to the Mission period. The south section was the juzgado (jail), justice court and stage depot. The northern part was a residence, believed to have been built by Jose Antonio Yorba II; however, it is more closely associated with his son, Jose Miguel 'Chavito' Yorba.
